KANSAS CITY, Mo. (February, 2010) – Tivol Jewelry’s centennial campaign, ‘100 Acts of Kindness’, is sizzling this month with company participation in a variety of events supporting the local metro.
February Acts:
Feb. 1-28: NAWS Woof & Whiskers Silent Auction
Beneficiary: Northland Animal Welfare Society
NAWS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a coalition for Clay and Platte counties dedicated to educating citizens regarding the humane treatment of animals.
Description: As a way to support this important group north of the river, Tivol is contributing a set of David Yurman earrings, accepting bids all month at their Briarcliff Village location.
Feb. 11: Ladies In Red Night At Briarcliff Village
Beneficiary: American Heart Association
The AMA’s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all we do. The need for our work is beyond question.
Description: In support of American Heart month, Tivol’s northland location participates in this open house where guests will enjoy hors devours, entertainment, and 10% off Tivol purchases with the use of their Go Red card.
Feb. 11: Code Red
Beneficiary: AIDS Service Foundation
The AIDS Service Foundation's charge is to be the leader in raising funds and awareness to assist those living with HIV/AIDS in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Description: In support of this foundation’s group, The Millennial League, which raises awareness about the AIDS virus, Code Red is an annual fundraising event, with this year’s theme of ‘Val-o-ween’, a creative cross between Valentine’s Day and Halloween. Tivol supplied gift bonds towards their grab bags and further supported with attendance.
