The ‘100 Acts’ Continue this Month with a Focus on Important Local Issues

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March, 2010) – Tivol Jewelry’s centennial campaign, ‘100 Acts of Kindness’, continues this month in support of two noteworthy causes in Kansas City, and ramping up an April event with the rock star of jewelry, Stephen Webster.

March Acts:

March 5-6: Diamonds and Aces

Beneficiary: Major League Baseball Wives Association:

Created in 1984, the Professional Sports Wives Association is the first charitable organization of all wives of active and retired professional athletes, coaches, and sports executives.

Description: Tivol contributed an item towards the event, with proceeds going to fight autism.

March 27: Dancing with the Stars

Beneficiary: Cristo Rey Kansas City:

Cristo Rey Kansas City provides a Catholic, college prep education enhanced by an innovative corporate work study program to culturally diverse students with economic need.

Description: Kansas City Dancing with the Stars is a star-studded event where local celebrities dance and compete to raise money and awareness for Cristo Rey Kansas City High School. Tivol has an ongoing partnership with the school, and this year has two interns working at the Plaza location. They are proud to offer additional support as a sponsor of Dancing with the Stars.
