KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 4, 2010) – This Saturday, October 9, the Tivol Doggie Cam unleashes as the first in Kansas City at Tivol’s Country Club Plaza location. The official launch is a full-scale event that all dogs, their masters and dog lovers are invited to join.

The Tivol Doggie Cam: The Tivol Doggie Cam goes live on the world wide web EVERY DAY during store business hours for all dog owners to strut with their mut offline in real-time, online. The live-streaming video camera is above the already popular Tivol Doggie Bowl, a paw-fect spot for pooches to lap fresh water on the Plaza. The Tivol family and staff are animal lovers that love seeing dogs visit the store and enjoy the water bowl. They found a way to share what they see every day. The Tivol Doggie Cam is for fun and the community to enjoy the daily dog walks, lappings and licks that happen every day in front of the on the Country Club Plaza store. The web camera will stream live at www.tivol.com every day during regular store hours.

• RIBBON CUTTING: Cathy Tivol will cut a gold ribbon held by her father Harold Tivol and Wayside Waifs supporter, Harold Melcher;
• Designer Dog Tags: A special dog tag trunk show by Chana Regev and unveiling the custom-created Tivol DogTag;
• Human treats provided;
• Raffle: Guests who make a $20 minimum donation to Wayside Waifs will be entered in a drawing for one of three great prizes including a beautiful customized Carelle Sterling Silver and blue topaz dog tag with the winning pups initials.
• On-Site Adoption: Wayside Waifs will have dogs available for adoption.
