David Yurman Makes Rare Appearance in Kansas City in Honor of Tivol 100th Anniversary
Internationally Celebrated American Jewelry Designer Debuts New Collection, Portion of Proceeds to Benefit The Kansas City Art Institute
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 28, 2010) – David Yurman, the man behind the internationally recognized jewelry brand, is headed to Kansas City in honor of Tivol’s 100th anniversary, for an exclusive preview of his the latest collections. A portion of proceeds from sales will benefit the Kansas City Art Institute on Wednesday, November 3 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Tivol Country Club Plaza.
The rare appearance is especially meaningful to Tivol as they have considered David Yurman a valued partner and supported the brand since its establishment 30 years ago. This year, David Yurman celebrated the rebirth of its Madison Avenue Flagship store in New York City and in recent weeks, celebrities such as Madonna, Justin Timberlake and America Ferrera, have been spotted on the brand’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/davidyurman wearing his collections. Giving back to the local communities is also incredibly important to the brand, and often demonstrated through the creation of signature pieces that support charitable causes, including a limited edition pink woven bracelet for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
