Chana Regev, Carelle’s founder and designer, spent years collaborating with the world’s most prestigious jewelers and fashion houses. The inspiration to launch her own line came from the beautiful gems in her life: the brilliant colored stones she worked with, and the vibrant, glamorous women who are drawn to them. The collection pays tribute to the rich diversity and larger-than-life personalities of both with bold shapes and powerful colors. She called it “car elle”—French for because of her—as a celebration of the exuberant modern woman, the Carelle Girls who rule the world.

In Carelle’s New York design studio, a team of skilled artisans meticulously handcrafts the collection. Every piece begins and ends with the stone that inspires it. Crystallized over millions of years deep within bedrock, precious gems have a light and life of their own, and Carelle is all about showcasing their unique personalities and attributes. An ingenious signature leaf motif incorporated into every design invites light to shine through the stone, enhancing its cut and brilliant color. Each piece is laser-inscribed with the name and weight of the stone, as well as the company logo. Carelle diamonds and gemstones, and the supply chain through which they are procured, are held to the jewelry industry’s most rigorous standards. We do business only with vendors and suppliers who uphold our same exacting standards.
