To create the Signature Diamond, Tivol started with a classic cut and set our own unique standards.
We took an ideal-cut stone and aggressively trimmed up the dimensions. We follow the Tolkowsky* specifications, with table diameter and depth as our focal points. More specifically, the proportions we have established are a table size that’s 55% or 56% of the diameter of the diamond, and total depth between 59% and 61.5%. We have strict standards of polish and symmetry, strict color and clarity ranges. All Tivol Signature Diamonds are I color or better, SI1 clarity or better. On the fluorescence scale, we'll accept only 'none' or 'faint.’

Tivol has developed a complementary Signature solitaire mounting and platinum band, both of exclusive design, to accompany the diamond. The band contains two flawless diamonds on the inside, representing a perfect union. The mounting is classic, and allows another band to fit flush. It is designed to appeal to a lot of people, a timeless look but not like everyone else's.

The Tivol Signature Diamond is also the perfect choice for a solitaire setting in platinum – with a diamond this beautiful that is where the focus should be. Paired with a diamond eternity band, the look is traditional and ageless.
With the Tivol Signature Diamond, we have a product that stands proudly on its own merit.
* The modern "Round Brilliant Cut" was developed by Belgian diamond-cutter Marcel Tolkowsky in 1919. This cut is also known as the "Tolkowsky Cut" and "Tolkowsky Brilliant." Even with modern techniques, the cutting and polishing of a diamonds resulted in a loss of as much as 50% of the stone's total weight. The round brilliant cut offered a vivd improvement over this loss.
