It has been a trend in the jewelry business for companies to brand their own diamonds. But the standard of excellence in diamond cutting was raised to unmatched heights when we unveiled the Tivol Signature Diamond.
Tivol set out three years ago to create a diamond that is the best of the best.
“We took the parameters that our industry accepts as an ideal-cut diamond and we narrowed those parameters dramatically,” said Cathy Tivol, chief executive officer. “I know of no other diamond company out there cutting a diamond where the tolerances to be considered their premium stone are as narrow as our tolerances.

“We ratcheted up the industry standard to what we truly believe is the absolute strictest standard of cutting for a stone available on the market today.”
Tivol’s diamond buyers consider only the top 10 percent of all diamonds available for any of their purchases. The Tivol Signature Diamond is even more exclusive.
Of all of the diamonds the company purchases, fewer than one in 100 qualify for a Tivol Signature Diamond. While a regular diamond is cut in three to four days, a Tivol Signature Diamond requires four to five weeks.
Each Tivol Signature
Diamond is certified for color and clarity by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The
edge of each stone is laser-inscribed with the Tivol Signature Diamond name and its GIA certificate number. And, each diamond comes with special packaging and a lifetime trade-in guarantee.
Cathy Tivol said it best. "They
are the most spectacular diamonds in the world."
